Earth Day, Travel session to Portland, and Gratitude!

Happy Earth Day to you!

Today, I'd love to share a great experience I had this weekend.

Last Friday, I went for a travel session to Portland to capture the new baby of my long-term friend and client.

It was so amazing from two perspectives.

It was my first solo overnight trip without any of the kids since Kabir was born. Yup, it's been that long. I've traveled to LA and San Diego for sessions, but I always had a baby in the carrier, or my entire family was traveling with me, also. It was so quiet, I realized I'm so not used to it. Wow. If you're wondering about the kids, they and Utkarsh had the best time together, eating out and not being too strict about screen time and bedtime! And it's great to be back!

Second, I'm always so grateful when my clients invite me to travel. When you choose for me to come to your place, even though it's not in the Bay Area anymore, it makes my heart sing that you trust me that much. It doesn't happen that often, and I get it. But when it does, it melts my heart!

With this family, we met when our oldest kids were around 3 years old. And now we both have three kids of various ages. It reminds me of so many things: that time does fly very fast, i got to meet many wonderful people and build close relationships with them through what i do, and witness the families grow. It's somehow magical.
